Go Cubs!

i do not view the cubs winning their division as being tainted by what happened with sosa-he served his suspension. i think the only thing it will affect is how people will view past accomplishments (home runs, slugging, etc).
if the cubs become the league champs, it would be great to see them and the red sox in the world series.
Go Cubs!
8yeah, yeah....the m's are at home is where they are
wood looked amazing last night
but he still had to drive in half his runs
anything can happen now that they are in the playoffs
so good luck to all y'all cubs fans, seriously now--knowing that john novotny is freaking out in some bar across town was the main thing that warmed my heart when the cubs won last night
in the long run: the cubs need some hitting and they need to spend the money to keep wood, prior, zambrano/clement as a unit. then they have a shot at being dominant. their pattern has been to keep one of those guys as a ticket draw, and let the other guys find their way out of town. it will be interesting to see if the organization seizes the opportunity to be great. they've never done it before.
but if you are a cubs fan, you don't give a fuck about the long run right now
