When does houmous become 'lemon (and whatever) houmous'?
When there's too much lemon in it. And I should pay extra for this?
What do you take me for Bill Tesco? Some sort of eedjit?

I had strawberry houmous (hummus?) created by a hippy girlfriend. I pretended to like it. I pretended to like her. Neither was worth a damn it turns out.

Tesco humorous is quite categorically ballbag.
If you can stand to put money in the hands of Zionists, that Sabra Hummus isn't bad at all.

This is just up the road from me:
Really,
dedicating an establishment exclusively to hamas?
Fuck that.

This is an area where we definitely need less choice - roasted red pepper houmous, lemon and cumin houmous and all of your recalcitrant little sisters be gone!
Made properly it's deadly simple and absolutely delicious, no need bugger around with the basic formula. Man hungry! I'm going out to get some tahini right now - just past the spunk tree.

spot on. It's like buying tinned tomatoes with assorted other shit included. Crazed behaviour.

ha ha, "made properly" indeed. I trust your technique has evolved from the initial Jakeman Road experiments that dissolved teeth and set the local hounds to barking when the blender lid was lifted

I've tried making humourous several times, and always ended up with something like chick pea pate rather than the commercial stuff. Tasty, but dense.

Me also.
Also, also, why do people insist on pretending that's it's far cheaper to make your own than to buy it - it's simply balls.
Baba ghanoush on the other hand is far easier to make, although requires (as does houmous I spose) a day to mature.

Lemon hummus is the tits. Nice, tangy, creamy tits. Excuse me.
