Mute Socialite is a fairly new Bay Area band that many of you would like. By "many of you" I mean "Ace," that damned bantam cock, etc.
It's all-instrumental (tho they were looking for a vocalist at one point & may still be). Definitely influenced by the Ex and Dog Faced Hermans.
These guys can all play but their gtrist Ava Mendoza in particular- she totally kills.
I think this is a band that deserves a bigger audience than they currently have. They are real good folks too. Check 'em out.

2At first I was writing off this post as spam as I didn't recognize this new handle, tho the Egyptian thing should have been a tip, then I did some research...welcome back ya creep.
This Mute Socialite stuff is really cool, might be even better w/ vox.

5Really very good.
Recommended by a god, too!
Edit: They have a CD out that you can order via that site.
"A Quiet Execution" is my favourite of the ones that I've heard so far.

9Dig the name a lot. Dig the 20 seconds I just snuck in to listen to at work. Don't dig the masks, though. Hello, Y2K!

Man, the whole band is full of researchers.

It was going on well before then.
They don't play with masks on. That appears to be a photo shoot thing. Maybe no brick walls were handy.
