PRF @ DNC & RNC

If you enjoy American politics, free food and drink, and talking your way into places, the political conventions are a great time. I had fun in Boston in 2004, and I'm going to Denver and Minneapolis in a few weeks. Neither my two friends nor I are delegates, but we aim to do some partying and journalism.
There's a lot going on outside the convention halls. The folks I knew that spent time in the FleetCenter in 2004 said that it was hot and crowded and not very interesting. There are many surreal and amusing street events, and the state delegations and various interest groups throw excessive parties day and night.
I guess the conventions are outside the PRF's main areas of interest, but are you going?
