I think it's pretty innovative in a way. But at the same time, stupid.

It's basically Google Maps but with a ground level view of the surroundings in perfect detail. I viewed my house and also viewed Electrical Audio. Pretty funny.

You are now able to print directions to your destination with a map and a picture of the place you are headed for. That's handy.

I was moderately excited when the Google car drove past me on my walk home a while ago - Google have just been given the all-clear to start this in the UK. The Google car was a black Ford Fiesta with what looked like a chair on top but was actually some rickety camera set up.

Not crap, waffles for not realising people would want their faces blanked from the start.

Apparently, loads of people have sued Google after their partners discovered they were cheating via the medium of Google Street View.

How can someone find shit like that. That thing is not even live view. Unless you leave your car parked at the third party's place for six months then you're screwed.

I think it was more that people were being photographed walking hand-in-hand down the street with people they shouldn't necessarily be... besides, you'd only need to have your car there at the exact moment the Google car came past.

Google Street View for Columbus went live recently, and I was able to determine that the pictures were shot roughly a year ago, as the car I bought in February of that year was in front of my house, my neighbor's old car was still here, and gas was $2.79 a gallon.
