I recently heard about a place where you can mini-bowl that has a full lion pelt on the wall. I will be doing this next weekend .

Art museum is great. Totally doable without making your head spin.

The Palms might be my favorite bar of all time.

There is good cheap food up there, but I am a Chicagoan and will leave it to the pros.

Every drive home from Milwaukee I think about moving there. Current and former Milwaukeeans talk me out of it, but I sure love that town.

I think you are talking about Koz's Mini Bowl, I have never been, but I work close to there, so if you are going please let me know...

Yes there are a ton of cheep eats and drinks up here, and why do these people tell you not to move to MKE? MKE needs an ITCHY!

Cheap stuff to do:

Echoing the Lakefront Brewery Tour...we took the Mise en Place guys on it and they loved it. Good beer and a cheap tour/drunk (for $5 you get about 4 8 oz microbrews, plus a coupon for a pint at a number of local bars on that day)

The area around 5th and National is where all the good cheap Mexican eats are...the cheapest (and best) is Conejitos on 6th and Virginia.

If you want to check out a show this weekend, DEFINITELY go to the Cactus Club on Friday or Saturday--Friday is the Dials' Milwaukee CD release, and if i didn't have a wedding i'd be there. Saturday is that Call me Lightning/Goodnight Loving show, which will be SENSATIONAL.

If you're gonna be in Riverwest, stop in at Foundation, off Center and Bremen. Then if you get hungry walk down Center St. to Frank 'n' Stein and get cheap hot dogs or tacos to munch on. Stonefly on Center and Fratney has excellent bar food as well (plus they have their own microbrews which i'm not crazy about, but many of my friends dig)

I'll be in town this weekend hanging with some ladiezzz if ya wanna meet up. I'll PM you my number.
