really... I'm voting NOT for China. I love the language, maybe I'd love the people... but they are the only country worse than the US when it comes to being a total. global. fuck.

I don't really care too much about them, but I will admit I am looking forward to watching some odd sport at 3 in the morning on cable.

I went to the Atlanta games in 96 when I was around 11 or so, I had a lot fun.

For a few Games there was an ad campaign by....MCI, I think....called "The Last 24 Hours of the Olympics," that was just a highlight reel of the past day's events, but with such stirring music that I still get wet eyes just thinking about it all these years later. Best commercials I've ever seen to this day. If anyone could point me to a repository for them on the net, I'd be forever grateful.

I wanted to be on the olympic crew team for a large portion of my late teens/early 20's.

I want pool, competitive mah jong, and chess to be olympic games. Till then, I'll just browse and vote waffles. Not crap, wf 5.
