Are you serious? There's no C/NC for Teddy Roosevelt?



Every time I read or watch something on him I find out some new crazy fact.
Last night I found out he was a judo master.

Yeah...crazy. A good president though. Political types were pretty nervous when he first snuck into office (obviously, that was never the idea).

I really loved Teddy Roosevelt all while growing up. I read a ton of books about him and his presidency and his family and stuff.

I honestly can't decide if he is C/NC. Some of the things he did disgust me, and other things make it so I can't hate him at all. I really have no clue here...

What makes you disgusted by him?

I like him more and more every time I look into him.

You just don't see the pince-nez glasses anymore.

Perhaps that can be the next hipster thing.

His attitudes about expansion in particular. The way he acted in Asia makes me sick. Sort of the forerunner of the American Jingoistic policies that have led us into Iraq today.

He did play a major role in orchestrating Panama's secession from Colombia just because the US wanted to build a canal and Colombia wouldn't let us.

I'm still a fan though.
