the thing with Jennifer Gentle is that they got signed to Sub Pop, which is kind of a big thing for an Italian band, but there are better bands in their field, which is basically psychedelic rock.

if you're curious about the indiependent Italian rock scene, right now the band Father Murphy (hailing from Venice) are making truly wonderful music. they are described as a cross between Os Mutantes, Syd Barrett and Danielson.

to me, they're geniuses.
