A note interest; This is a very, very, republican newspaper, and it has already endorsed George Bush.

The reporter Eddie Curran hates democrats. This website does not have the pictures of the letters he recieved from Jeb Bush, which were in the actual paper copy. I am amazed they covered this. However, I think it will go unnoticed.

I don't understand what the story is here, the guy is still registered to vote in FLA...it's just smart electioneering by the GOP and as a dem I am dismayed that the dem in the same circumstances has not received the same offer...

Well, the article report the republican party has sent out more 1,000,000, such letters. Unless I missed it, the article it does not interview one person from the democratic party. I think this is a blatant attempt to get nonresidents of Florida to vote in Florida and probably their home states also.

Also, you should know that this newspaper in my home town, is AKA the Republican Gazette. They probably think Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly are tree hugging liberals. They make Fox News look left winged. No joke, they think George Bush shits rainbows of gold. The reporter in this article is nothing but an inquisitor for the republican party, which makes it odd that he would cover this on the front page.

Shouldn't people vote in their own state? What about voting on local issues? Do they want these nonresidents, selecting their mayors, congressmen, city councilmen, and dog catchers? It seems a little strange that someone moves out of your state and you would encourage them to vote in a state they do not live in. I always thought it was a law that you had to vote in your state of residence. I guess I was wrong.
