Hey
friends,
You can help me get a free iPod by clicking on the link below and signing up for one of the services (mostly free trials that you can cancel quickly) offered.
If this sounds like a scam, you'd usually be right. But the following article at Wired.com explains how it works:
http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,64614,00.html
You
must use the referrel link below for this to work. So...

Thanks again

Russ, I'd love to clog my mailbox for you, but I just don't have the space.
But I have a suggestion:
You have five friends:
Heyman I.M. Natch
Jack Toff
Hugh Jass
Ralph Nader
Mickey Mouse
...each of whom lives at the address of a different recently deceased relative.
Bing! iPod!

It's a little more complicated than that. But thanks.

I've tried four of those free signups thingys and all of those required a creditcard number to for signing up.
I didn't take the time to check them all out.

What doesn't take a credit card to sign up for these days?

but this one doesn't require a credit card, i don't think.
what it requires is your mailing address. And then you are flooded with hardcopy junk mail promotions, i believe.
Perhaps I am wrong about this?

Well, if you sign up for AOL, you don't have to give out anything. Sign up for the free 30 day trial, then just cancel before the 30 days is up. I signed up for this, but I could not get enough people to sign up with me, so I still haven't gotten mine.
And this isn't a scam. Neither are most of the other free*insert item here*.com sites.

My dad won his ps2 from some website. There are real prizes out there, you just have to be willing to play the game.
Personally, I want someone to help me win a free U2-branded Ipod. Firstly because they are black and red, thus much cooler looking than the normal Ipod, and secondly because if I'm going to chug corporate cock I may as well go all the way with it.
