seriously people, even if you don't give a shit about either of the two bands featured in the movie (i didn't know jack shit about either except that i had heard both the names here and there), go see this movie. it's a fun movie, sometimes funny, sometimes a little sad, always entertaining. the parts where it focuses on the dealings with record labels, that was interesting for me to hear. hearing people talking about their experience with capitol or tvt, that was interesting. watching the band members getting into fights on stage was interesting. watching the singer kick that guy in the head made me go "ooouh!" and jump a little.

if you're at all interested in the business side of rock, the personality-based aspects of rock bands, music itself, drug use/abuse, touring europe, or genesis p'orridge, then see this movie. and if you're not, see it anyways. i give it twenty-eight thumbs up.

actually thinking back again my favourite part was when hte guy described anton driving up in a van (dressed funny?) and giving him a box with shotgun shells wrapped in coloured tissue paper...

shit, i can't remember it well enough to describe it right... that was fuckin' funny though!

Best music documentary I've seen in a while. A great achievement, considering that both bands, from what I can tell, are pretty much worthless.

what's wrong with the music of BJM? i started a crap/not crap on 'em and people were hittin' that crap button fast. just curious.

I just had the unfortunate experience of watching this movie. I currently hate these bands more than any other band on earth. "I'm gonna start a revolution man! Just watch me!" Yeah dude, do a shitload of coke and heroin and try to sound like the Beatles and Stones...how unique and interesting. I hope this fucker OD's soon and the Dandy Warhols are slowly tortured for a few weeks, then shot and thrown in a ditch.
