Jello Biafra-Melvins-Never Breathe What You Cant See

and dont forget the Melvins arent exactly young either. but this album blew me away. it was exactly what i wanted to hear.
after this summers other Melvins release with Lustmord, it was what i needed from the Melvins.
i saw them this tour right before they canceled the tour. and Buzz told me that Jello was with them on some dates but couldnt make it to Nashville.
i think they played in SF on Halloween.

Kenny, I'll explain myself. "Never breathe what you can't see". Can you see oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide or any of the other gases that make up the air we breathe on a regular basis? No. Can you, coming to think of it, see anything that you should breathe?

So, is it:

(a) An inadvertantly half-witted slogan

(b) An intentionally half-witted slogan to poke fun at chowderheaded knee-jerk anarcho-leftist types who would come up with this kind of slogan (somehow this seems unlikely)

?
"You Humans make a brave noise."

I'm gonna go with (b). Considering that Jello is the same to guy that came up with such genius phrases as "Let's Lynch The Landlord", "California Uber Alles", and "Kill The Poor" just to name a few. Anyway, I think it's a great album title. Remember this is a guy, who when running for mayor in 1979, actually vacuumed the sidewalks in front of Mayor Feinstein's house as part of his " Cleaning Up" campaign.
Better yet, eat the placenta!!!

They are doing their best to stay original, and they do well. Im sure the name came from some of Jello Biafra's ideas on polotics. I dont fancy Jello Biafras singing voice or his performance that I saw in cleveland at the grog shop this past september, but this is most likely a good release, I still have to buy it. As for what quatermain said, that makes as much sense as saying, "well, you can only see your breath in the cold, so they must be saying you should always be in the cold."
