i recently read some news about don caballero doing a handful of "reunion" shows, but can't seem to find any new york dates. does anybody have any information about this?

I am going to one-up Damon. I am putting together a Slint reunion with NO members of the band! And the tour will consist of NO dates. Hold on, I have NO pants on...

I can't believe that after the tour diary printed in Chunklet, they would even talk to each other any more. One of the funniest "rock and roll" things I've ever read.

...I have first two records of them...they are direct followers of King Crimson or what...nice to hear just how many notes per minute this drummer plays, at first I thought I have 45 on my turntable!
And there is another good song on singles braking up cd, but the rest is just too much sport and bad childhood combined...

In about a week and a half, on Oct 25 i hope to be seeing them at CBGB's as part of CMJ. Even if it is just Damon, i think it will still be worth it.

The original thread was about a Don Caballero reunion.
That implies that they would have to work together.

Damon isn't playing w/ any of the old members this time around. No Ian... No Mike... No Pat. He has teamed up w/ the guys from Creta Bourzia (sp?) for this Don Caballero "reunion". That might be your point of confusion... Maybe you already knew... I dunno.
