A friend of mine lend me his copy of the new P.W. Long CD and after I've listened to REMEMBERED for a couple of times, I have to say that his new album sounds a bit tired, too. I love Push Me Again and miss a some of it's fire and passion on this one. Don't get me wrong, I would definetly buy it if it was available on vinyl.
What happened to Touch and Go's vinyl release policy, by the way?

Try selling 1000 PW long LPs and there's your answer...

Thanks Snorlax, I haven't thought about this so far. I have only worked for smaller labels, with less well established world wide distribution. You're right, a CD is cheaper because it's just a piece of plastic wrapped in some colored paper. It's easier to produce, to store, to ship and to sell, it can be reproduced and burned on a computer and is therefore a guarantee that rock and roll will never die. Good night.
