Film: Gummo
2Gummo reminds me of my own childhood filled with retards, mutants, empty lots and rundown houses, and dirty heavy metal grits tearing up the neighborhood on our BMX bikes in the northeast suburbs of Baltimore. Scary, Ooky and repulsive but not crap.
.......of the BLUE HUMOURS

3makes me extremely uncomfortable. i cannot watch this movie more than once or twice a year. but that's what it was set to accomplish, and it did a damn fine job of it, so not crap!

4I've been on an "adventure" to that town that the movie supposedly took place in. It had a KFC. Nothing else.
Better yet, eat the placenta!!!

5Mark Gonzales vs. a chair. funniest scene ever.
I heard Harmony Korine had a concept art project where he would let people beat the shit out of him, I think he would smoke crack first or get drunk, or something, anyway I don't think he finished the project... Does anyone know anything about this?
concept artists .. they are a misunderstood bunch, i cannot figure them out one bit...

6Mooliachi!
I believe it was called Fight/Harm and exists only in an unfinished form (apparently he was about to fall foul of the '3 Strikes' law after continually getting arrested for brawling and the project had to be canned). It might have been aired in a gallery somewhere and I think I read it will appear as extra material on a DVD at some point. Have a sniff around the boards on IMDB for all the usual fanboy gossip.
toodlepip,
Chris

The movie was supposed to take place in Xenia, Ohio, but was actually filmed in Nashville (Korine's hometown). A friend knows the Guzak brothers in the film (supposedly, very little acting was involved).
Not crap

10NOT CRAP!
i swear this movie could of been filmed in my neck of the woods.
and while the actual idea of this happening isnt funny, the way that "you got a lump on your tittie" is said...priceless.
