tortoise were great back when they were a band. now they are just a studio making random heartless collections of kitschy sounds. aargh.
AC/DC beats even the best tortoise any day.

i don`t think so... i saw them live in zagreb this year and they seemed quite enjoying playing their songs... so i wouldn`t say that they`re all about studio work.

i guess it comes down to i'd rather go to an ac/dc show even now in 2004 then a tortoise show. wait, how can you even compare these?

yeah i guess it`s kind a stupid, it`s all about what you like about music here... so my vote is for tortoise
