Lone nut or orchestrated plot?

I have no idea who killed JFK, but it has always seemed to me that he was a rather dangerous leader. After all he did take the world to the nuclear brink. It has been said recently that he had some serious psychological flaws; although this could be true of many leaders.

Perhaps he was taken out because he was too much of liability rather than for the being the progressive saint that Oliver Stone depicts in JFK.

P.S. There is an amazing song about the Kennedy assasination by Phil Ochs called 'The Crucifixtion'.

Oswald did it alone. Yes the government secretly kills and lies but after reviewing all 3000 pieces of evidence as well as interviewing those who knew Oswald, inlcuding his brother*, I'm pretty convinced he acted alone and had the motive and the ability to do it. He was a misfit loner, trying to fit in somewhere and leave his mark on the world. He was an excellent shot according to his military records. He had also attempted the life of a radically racist Texas politician in March of that year.

Two distortions about the movie JFK and one about the "4th" shot.

1. Connelley was seated more to the inside of the car than the movie depicts, making it perfectly acceptable for him to have been shot with the bullet that went through Kennedy's neck.

2. Oswald fired 3 shots in 8 seconds, NOT 6 seceonds as described in the movie. It was less than 100 yards and the target was moving slowly.

3. The acoustic evidence brought forth in the 1970's investigation predicted that the officer who's microphone was open and recorded should have been in front of the depository at the time of the shots. But the photographic evidence, as well as the officer's testimony, show that he was still a block behind that location. It renders the acoustic evidence irrelevant.

Do I still think it's possible there was more than one shooter and/or a conspiricy? Sure, anything is possible, but I doubt it.

*I'm kidding of course about personally reviewing the evidence and interviewing relevent people, but I have studied the subject and just saw a neat documentary on it Saturday night because I'm a loser who stays home on the weekends and watches the History Channel.

this is the most compelling Kennedy-related thing i've ever read, specifically all the things that the various players stated during the inquiry, and the folks resigning and all.

Whilst we're on the topic, Penn and Teller did a great debunking of the Physics of this (JFK, the movie) in their book Cruel Tricks for Dear Friends (circa 1992). In the film Kostner says that since the head went "back and to the left" that the bullet had to come from "front and to the right." This is untrue.

When a bullet is fired, it doesn't have the mass to move the head (as evidenced by entry wounds being smaller than exit wounds) and just goes into the skull. When the bullet exits however, all of the grey matter and blood and skull bits get pulled out behind the bullet's trajectory and create a mini explosion, propulsive enough to move the head towards the gun, not away from it.

Ergo, if the head moved "back, and to the left," then the shot also had to come from "back, and to the left."
