One of the most unique I've seen in ages, but marginally better on recordings, I think. I have seen them a number of times on trips to Boston.

Saw this band last night, here, in Milwaukee. They were pretty phenomenal. Alot of it felt like the moment before a climax, but it was never reached. The only negative I can say is that horns in rock ALMOST always turn me off, and the Kayo Dot horns were no exception.

This band is amazing, wouldn't be the same without the horns.

Saw em in Houston about 2 months ago. Amazing~
The album Choirs of the Eye is one of the most unique and amazing things I have heard in a long long time.
I love this band, and I can't wait until I can again be dumbfounded by the eccentric mad genius of Toby Driver.

This is true of the material I've heard. Awesome but somewhat unsatisfying at the same time. A friend of mine is drumming with them now and I wish them all the best. Just wanna hear more violence.
