Bob W. did not do any re-mixing of TJL records. He re-mastered them. From the original final mixes. I do not know, but I would bet my ass he did it at his mastering studio:http://www.chicagomasteringservice.com/index.html.

Steve and I mastered the JL reissues at my mastering studio: Chicago Mastering Service. We worked from Steve's original 1/2-inch stereo master tapes, as if all the records had been mixed last week.bob weston

Well, there wasn't really any choice. When you master something you need to master from the stereo mixes. There's only one set of stereo mixes for all those records: the mixes that Steve and the band did at the time.Nothing was remixed. Only remastered.bw

sorry I have had a problem for some reason I didnt understand why people were talking about remixing I was meaning to talk about the remasters and I just seen what I wrote for the title of the thread has mixing word in it.stupid me, I didnt meaning to put that there.I was meaning remasters but something else must have been on my mind. But just one more thing i.I was trying to think what Steve wanted it to be different than a mainstream remasters if theres is a different ways of doing it,what Steve would do and what the Wolves would do (can there be a difference ?I thought that the Wolves would put it in a kinda computer program like mp3 or something digi you know .I would think there is is a ways of analog still even in remasters.sorry for my complex thinking
