Name five bands that you wish would reform for one last show that you would attend. All former band members must still be alive. Big Black is off-limits because they ended perfectly.

1. Slint
2. Vitreous Humor
3. Zoom
4. Hum
5. Midnight Oil

What bands did I miss?

1. Rapeman
2. Capt. Beefheart & Magic Band (the latest album was real close, though)
3. Shudder To Think (circa Pony Express Record {not sure they've even broken up, but it sure seems that way})
4. The Sugarcubes
5. Neutrino

There's probably more but I can't think that way right now.

they are the age they are today, then, i take it? as opposed to 'back in the day' versions. that makes this a lot harder.

just saw _24hr. party people_ (thumbs up). the cameos were pretty good in that everyone looked really OLD and they did not shy away from it.

and they all have to be alive...hmm.

i don't have any

but in the last year or so, i have seen and enjoyed to varying degrees:

wire
mission of burma
the zombies (kind of)
the creation (one dead guy)

i missed love

i would go see 'the stooges' if they played here

the stooges w/james williamson, i'd like to see that...i think

You really missed out, if you like Forever Changes it's completely incredible, surpassed all of my expectations, probably the best show I've ever been to (although I admit I haven't been to too many). He's still touring though, make sure you catch him next time he passes through your town, expecially if it's with the full ensemble.

bradley,

i guess you missed this one, Hum DID reform for one last show since they broke up in a wretchedly unpredictable way. they played new year's eve at the metro, when 2000 turned into 2001.

you'll have to come up with one more band, i guess.

regards,
jet.
