I was thinking of getting a Tascam 238 with the intention of using it to make reasonable recordings of my band. we can only afford to record 5 or so songs at a studio so i want to be able to document the rest. i want to do it quite live, so probably would need to be able to record 6 tracks at one time (leaving two free for vocals). can anyone recomend a decent mixer for this job. do you need 6 busses to record six tracks at once?
