Cos I don't trust the weatherpeople over here since that hurricane of '97 bizness.
Seriously, an update on the great snow in of 2005 would be appreciated. I love snow.

2Yeah, it's been a pretty snowy weekend. I live just north of the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border, and we got 2 feet of snow, but because of the cold (-20 C or so) it was really light stuff that drifted like a mad bastard. At 8am this morning the wind was really strong and I couldn't see the house next door.
My snowblower got submerged a few times in my driveway today and I had to dig a foot or two off the top before I could run it over the whole thing. Pain in the ass. And the back.

I live just south of the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border and it was pretty crazy here. There was a parking ban in my town, and since I don't have a driveway, I had to leave my car at my mother's house and get a ride home. Such a pain in the ass, this New England weather.

7New 30' driveway.
I'm buying a damn snowblower.
A nice neighbor took pity on my poor shoveling ass and said "Here kid, use this..."
Nice invention. I'm sure I saved at least an hour and some back muscles.
I owe him a six pack, maybe a case.
