Found their album used soon after its release, picked it up after reading a favorable review in AP, and liked it well enough. I don't think I'd listened to this album since highschool, and my taste wasn't necessarily too good back then. I brought this album, Butterfly to work today, and have listened to it a couple of times. I still think it's pretty good. I suppose they were s'posed to be kind-of a T. Rex-y glam band (though obviously they can't touch T. Rex), and the lyrics are appropriately stupid in most songs, but I was pleasantly surprised to still like this album OK. It's pretty cheesy, and it has a couple of terrible songs, but the good ones are very, very good. Anyway, NOT CRAP with a high waffle factor, because I have a sneaking suspicion that the bandmembers used to play in cock rock bands, judging by some of the playing.

I've changed my mind after listening a few more times and letting the semi-nostalgia wear off. I guess I'm going to have to go with CRAP with a low waffle factor. The lyrics are much too stupid for me to vote otherwise. There's a song about how Johnny (there's that bastard again) will "never get to heaven playin' rock 'n' roll", for god's sake. Guess I'd tuned that out before. Bleah. And the music is often pretty much straight-ahead cock rock in parts. I was tricked by this as a youngster. These guys deserved to end up in cutout bins for that alone. Guess it took a few more listens for the utter cheesiness to completely register with me, sadly. It is a guilty pleasure for me, not unlike Kiss.

I'm sure my opinion of this band, who no one else was stupid enough to listen to, was keeping everyone up at night.

The guitarist used to be in Void, which is their only redeeming quality. Crap based on the cover alone.

i guess while i'm here i'll comment on the band...i think i was around you once many years ago when you were listening to this band...my memory of it's pretty vague but it seems to be filled with crap...
