OK... I know this might sound a bit generic... but an interesting question none-the-less. Here's the scenario:
You're stranded on a deserted island, w/ nothing but your skivveys and a radio/stereo. And yes, there are electrical outlets on this island ironically enough. Pick the 5 albums you would be the most content listening to for the duration of your shite existance.

If that were the case I would want to listen to 5 albums which would suck the will to live out of me, thus making death so much easier to accept. the obvious choices:
1. U2
2. Radiohead (same thing, really)
3. Modest Mouse
4. Something from the new Don Caballero reunion/cover band
5. Korn

even though morton feldman isn't exactly my favorite of all time, it seems to me his records would have to be the coolest if you were stuck with only them forever because you know, the more you listen to them the more they reveal themselves to you incoporating the environment etc.
1.the rothko chapel
2.triadic memories
3.breadwinner the burner
4.something good to jack off to, your'e gonna need it.
and finally-5.bob dylan blood on the tracks
