I have recently converted back to wearing underwears. I never liked the feeling of 'pants under my pants' and only conceded to wearing boxer shorts for a brief period in seventh grade because all of the other boys did. I cannot site any particular reason for my recent change of heart other than feeling like I should be acting more responsible and the first step should be undergarments. That said, I evaluate the options.

I do not understand boxer shorts. Ill designed to suit the function in my opinion. Too much fabric leads to akward bunching and wedging.

Boxer Briefs, also seem illogical to me unless I have or want someone to think I have a large penis. Neither of these apply to me, and I find the extra space strange.

My pick, the tighty-whities. They fit comfortably, no bunch, and provide great support. They also look cool when sitting on the couch/drinking alcohol/golfing/ or just hanging out.

Free organs. Weapon of choice for so many years. I have two friends who have recently contracted herpes like symptoms from not washing frequently and not wearing undergarments. It went away, but was certainly frightening and inconvenient.

If you pick other, please explain the style and function of undergarment.

as in ulcerus sores? how long did they go without washing? and this happened to 2 seperate people you know? the doctor confirmed this was NOT a function of a VD? geeze.

i wear the boxers. have since about the 7th grade i would imagine. i don't find any bunching problems. i think mostly this is related to the size of the OUTERgarment. my pants are probably loose enough to let boxing short just do as it pleases. tighter pants would probably cause bunching. in fact, for best results, wear boxing shorts and skirt.

I cannot confirm how closely the two mirrored each other (speaking in terms of herpes and whatever they had) as neither of them have dealt with/seen herpes. Both 'thought' at the outset that they were contracting some VD and which the doctor denied. He provided a cream and told them to wash up and begin wearing underwear. The two in question are actually two of my closest friends and I have yet to hear of anyone contracting anything similar.

Good guys.

They make me feel clean.

i made the jump to boxers in about 7th grade. stuck with that until this last year (aka 20 years), when i've made the jump BACK to briefs, but colored. not white.

the underwear are now, shall we say, doing their job better.

many of my collegiate years were spent "in the breeze" as it were. never had cleanliness issues.

wait, why are talking about this?

It's almost like you have a camera set up in my room...

I bought a pair of Sponge Bob Sq. Pts. boxers and a beautiful Rawlings baseball mit at a Wallmart in Oxford, Mississippi. It was the only store in town to suit my baseball and undergarment needs as I was driving through town. I'd like to think that the two purchases together gave me a zero sum gay factor. My 'nads beg to differ.
In retrospect, I should have stepped off the stage and utter-kicked Mrs. O'Leary's cow.

About 6 years ago I switched back to TWs from boxers. Although I enjoyed the free spirited nature of the boxer short, the bunching and constant riding
began to wear thin. I also began wearing my pants a little more fitting to my body size as the constant fight to keep them on my person was just silly.

I like TWs. Calvin Klein and BR have been my brand choices. They both seem to fit well and are for the most part fairly rugged considering my very active lifestyle.....

I concur:

They also look cool when sitting on the couch/drinking alcohol/golfing/ or just hanging out.
