Bauhaus is the best band ever. My friends bought me a ticket to see them about 4 years ago (because I was a big fan in high school, and my tastes in music are still the same!).
It was great. Peter Murphy looked so handsome, and he changed his outfits 4 times! He went from Bowie, to Bowie, to Bowie, and then to Count Chocula for their finale (Bela Lugosi's Dead -- the best song ever written!)
In case you didn't know, Bauhaus are the definitive art rock band. They were the first band to merge art and rock. Before that, there was only rock n' roll.
I like that song "Third Uncle" that they wrote. Really great song that they wrote all by themselves.

Well, I think Walter Gropius is given a bit too much credit. It seems that the arts and crafts movement was going out anyway and he just got on the ball quicker. And poor choice in handing off the seat of the throne.
But shortly after (when it finally moved to berlin i believe) Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe became the director. That guy's awesome.
So THAT bauhaus is not crap. the band.....total crap.
