Slint Show

I feel it is my duty, having been on the first U.S. stop in the Slint reunion tour, to post about the show.
First off I must say I am 25, and came to find out about Slint about 7 or 8 years ago (well after they broke up), so please excuse my ignorance. I didn't know much about the workings of the band, so while seeing them live, a few things took me by surprise.
I was the first person from the stage, next to the right speakers. The live sound was amazing! At times I listened for a difference between the CD and the sound I was hearing. It was pretty difficult to find.
It was a great show and I'm sure that all of those blessed enough to score tickets to one of the shows will feel the same.

I do:

-Good Morning Captain (there's a cock in your eye)
-We're so post-rock that we have cocks in our eyes
-Cock in eye = good time

Then they scurried off and went their separate ways...
