I feel it is my duty, having been on the first U.S. stop in the Slint reunion tour, to post about the show.
First off I must say I am 25, and came to find out about Slint about 7 or 8 years ago (well after they broke up), so please excuse my ignorance. I didn't know much about the workings of the band, so while seeing them live, a few things took me by surprise.
I was the first person from the stage, next to the right speakers. The live sound was amazing! At times I listened for a difference between the CD and the sound I was hearing. It was pretty difficult to find.
It was a great show and I'm sure that all of those blessed enough to score tickets to one of the shows will feel the same.

Aha, a bad recording of a band playing just like they did on the cd.

The good user ECSean felt it was his duty to not only record that show but put up the myspace page and post a thread about it. Personally I think the recording's as good as I've heard from an audience boot, and have duly thanked him. You may wish to do so as well.

Good show, but more cock in the eye would have been great.
