Been listening to Lanterna's albums all day for the second time this week, and just discovered there's a new album coming out this Tuesday! (150217)http://web.lanterna.tv/Lanterna is Henry Frayne, he played in Champaign, IL, band The Moon Seven Times in the '90s, but I've been a huge fan of Lanterna's ambient/folk instrumentals since the Rykodisc release of his self-titled debut in '95 or so. It's wallpaper-y stuff for the most part, but perfectly done and the song Clear Blue from the Highways record is one of several pieces that are as great as Music For Airports or any similar ambient landmark.
