Bass Cabinets...

Hello there. I'm posting on behalf of my cousin's band, Freestyle. They'll be making the trek over to Electrical from here, Honduras, to show up on the 1st of october and are really, REALLY excited to be recording at EA. They asked me to post on their behalf since they're not the biggest english speakers in the world. The following inquiry comes from Julio, the bass player (and my cousin). He wants to know what bass amplifier cabinets are available for recording. He didn't name any specific piece of gear, he just said he would like to use a "punk" style cabinet, something along the lines of what the Cloud Nothings used in "Attack on Memory". Any information on availability of any similar piece of equipment, rent fees, etc would be deeply, deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.I just talked to Julio last week, we're looking forward to having Freestyle. As mentioned, you are welcome to use anything we own as a studio, and there's no rental cost for using our equipment. For bass cabs, we have 1x15" Dietz-copy cabs that are the mainstays, we have a new (for us) EAW 1x15" cabinet, and we have an Emperor 1x15" plus 2x12" that we are borrowing, which has recently entered the rotation. There's also a Marshall 1x15" that we're hiding in the basement cause it's ugly. I've never heard the thing so I can't comment on its sound. No idea what Cloud Nothings used when they were here, but I'd bet it was either their cab or one of our Dietz copies.Thanks.

Classic stuff.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03cL3b0BcQQ
