I saw the new "reunion" Don Cab play at cbgb's a few weeks ago. Disappointingly, it was crap. Also, I'm not a big fan of 'American Don'. However, 'What Burns Never Returns' is one of my all time favorite albums, so

not crap.

Don Cab II alone makes for NOT CRAP, even with bizarre reuniting rituals.

What's deal with the new shows? I heard it's only the drummer with all new other guys?

This begs the question "What is Don Caballero?" I believe Damon Che is the only member of the band who has been constant throughout its history, even before this 'reunion' tour, so who's to say he can't get new guys and go on the road as Don Caballero again?
