Alright! Got my first favorite of 2019 and nobody has started the new thread yet so :Pedro the Lion - Phoenixhttps://pedrothelion.bandcamp.com/album/phoenixFirst album as Pedro the Lion in a long time, Phoenix is about David Bazan growing up in Arizona. Got sent the album a week early and haven't been able to listen to anything else.

Quantum Field by Pogo is the best thing I've heard thus far. Toro Y Moi and Panda Bear were as middling as I expected.

I was friends with his cousins Joel and Chris. Fun to hear him name off the road names on the last song.

The new GBV....Holy shit! They are totally at the top of their game.

The new Cass McCombs LP, Tip of the Sphere. He's a very good songwriter.

HEADS above any other album he's done under this name (I like the Overseas one a bit more). Totally catchy, driving music here. Love it.
