Hi, I could not think of a better place to ask a geeky shellac record question.I just saw a Shellac #2 7" at my local record store (Angry Mom in Ithaca, NY). It is on hold for me and I'm just waiting for a price to go get it.I read that the Shellac logo on the front was printed with root beer? but on this record it's bluish/purple...ran out of root beer? is that Kool Aid?

root beer, mustard... perhaps thuringer drippings for the hot doug's trifecta?

Hah, we ran out of root beer at one point so we used whatever we had around. There were some done with mustard, some done with blue ink. Not that it matters but they're the rarest ones.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my stupid question. Mine is actually green, so green ink I guess. I didn't taste it.
