Here's the Rusty Rack proposal so far... Do you think we need to add a bypass feature? Does a rack preamp need this? It obviously adds a design challenge. Most likely only the unbalanced i/o would have bypass... with the balanced section remaining on line. Balanced XLR DI output pre-master volume knob? Hell yeah! Foot switch and volume control for the boost? Whoop whoop I might actually start using the boost. Sweepable mid? Excellent! Optional Boxidizer EQ? Um, sure I guess, I don't know.Personally I wouldn't use a bypass.

I'm definitely in the target market for a Rusty Rack.

I love the Boxidizer eq! The whole thing seems rad!

Are you guys planning to go after the small studio buyers? You might attract more of them with MIDI control, but then, that might be cost-prohibitive to implement.

Hey David: I just saw on facebook that the new rusty box is available for purchase; I've decided to buy one again as an amp replacement (a vintage ampeg that is too heavy for my old back) so I'm curious about the rack version and was wondering if you had a sense of the pricing/timing on this version.

An effects loop would be a great addition.

Bishopdante, what I meant was if they were going for the DAW automation and synth folks, not the virtual guitar amp users. Think Elektron Analog Heat, not Avid Eleven.

Those mid controls would be great. Bandwidth is awesome but if it's much easier to leave that out it's not a dealbreaker. Is the color scheme going to be the same as the pedal?
