I don't know how but I slept on these guys until a few weeks ago and really dig them. The name is goofy as hell, but the music is just brilliant.

Gareth is doing a project with Chris Abrahams from the Necks and Jim White on drums. TFS and Mod Con have been recording, too. Many good things to come.

Did any PRFers from down under go to the recent Liddiard/White shows? I’d love to hear about it.

Very much not crap. I constantly come back to this performance, the first song here especially. I think TFS was the last band I saw before the pandemic, on their late 2019 European tour, they've killed it.

I saw the posters for those shows and I'm jealous of anyone who went. I saw the Drones at the Tote when we lived in Melbourne and they were brilliant.

Glad to see things haven't changed...of course TFS is one of the first bands to get a revived C/NC.

The most overrated band to come down the pike since the Strokes...except it's all the cool kids doing the pushing on this one.

Oh damn, I didn't know that this was a thing, haven't been keeping up with shows the past year.......I've just seen they're playing next week but it's sold out! (if any Melbourne folk has a spare ticket, hit me up!)

Liddiard and Abrahams sounds like a weird pairing. It'll probably be great.

I tried with this band, mostly based on the original hub-bub around here, but man. Boringsville. Crap.

this is wrong because the Strokes put out two great albums.

More like Tropical Suck Storm. Crap.

The dude from Tropical Fuck Storm spat in my mouth at a show in 2019 and if it feels like a blessed vision from a past life.

Good records, great live band. Not crap.
