Great band, no shame in that. They owe quite a bit to Japan, IMO. Whereas Japan was more arty, DD was music for the masses. Which leads to...

Depeche Mode. Are we not supposed to like them?

Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Def Leppard. I don't hate the Smashing Pumpkins. I don't particularly like them, but I won't change the station if they're on. They're OK.

Don't really believe in guilty pleasures, or believing that I am supposed to like or not like a band. I'm way past high school. I'll bite.

The first Linkin Park album, the first couple of Korn albums (I was not in my teens when any of those came out).

That first Korn album could be great but I find the angry-crybaby vocals to be insufferable.

Mellencamp is so crass that I howl with laughter, and his band is solid.

Usual don't believe in guilty pleasures bit....

That one Understand album. It rubs up against so much emo-ey awfulness and the singing is rotten, yet I absolutely love it.

I did feel a bit of guilt liking Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar, but now I feel I'm going to have to listen to that album on my iPod, under the covers, with all the lights out. And then don't tell anyone.
