My wife and I are fully vaxxed, but we still wear masks inside and plan to keep doing so, at least until vaccination rates are a bit higher.
Neither of us wear them outside anymore but probably would if we were in crowds.
Re: Article of clothing: Mask (during and after what hopefully will be the end of the COVID-19 pandemic)
3There are communities of people out there for whom the vax can’t be administered or for whom it doesn’t work - some cancer patients, some organ transplant recipients, etc. Until the folks in charge of monitoring this thing sound the all clear for them, I see no harm in continuing. It won’t hurt anything and it can help.

4Doesn't bother me either way at this point. I keep mine on when I'm closer to people than I want to be. We'll see how it shakes out over the summer if I keep it on in class this fall.

5I have a family member who I love more than anyone on this planet who is immunocompromised, so yes...for the forseable future.
Long before Covid I had wanted to wear a mask because many people are disgusting pigs. This pandemic drove that point home, on multiple levels.

6I don't mind staying on the side of caution for awhile, and I don't think wearing a mask on a crowded bus, train, or elevator will ever be a bad idea from here on out.
However, double masking (started early '21 when the variants became an increasing threat) sucks. I won't be doing that again unless something goes horribly wrong (again).

7I really fail to see why some are so outraged by the mask thing.
It's such a small effort towards removing yourself from the Covid equation.
It's also been pretty damn normal (pre-covid) in populous cites outside North America.
Beijing, Mexico City, Delhi, Seoul ...
Sick? Wear a mask. Dust and debris? Wear a mask. Smog warning? Wear a mask. Seasonal allergies? Wear a mask.
You would think that selfish pricks would be the early adopters!

DIY and die anyway.

8I bartend. Small box of a place with lots of liberty loving Texans. I double when busy.
Masks seem a minimally troublesome precaution.
I don't consider masks as flags.

9When I'm out walking the dog or whatever, I still keep my mask around my neck and put it on as I get closer to people. I'm more and more comfortable taking it off in a restaurant or bar--my county is at >75% of adults with at least one shot, and ~64% of the total population and people are still required to wear masks in grocery stores until the end of the month.
But when I start going back to the office in the fall, fuck yeah I'm wearing a mask when I'm taking the bus during cold/flu season.

10In public? Like, outside? No
Where it's mandated indoors? Yes
I work at a large health club. A couple of weeks ago we lifted the mask mandate for members, but staff had to remain masked. Next week employees can finally remove their masks - if one can provide their vaccination card - and I'm fucking tickled to death over it. Certainly won't be a dick about it as I'll acquiesce when required, but I'm done.
