I'll avoid the silly terms to describe these, the "hack" or "life pro" nonsense. But it's a fact that not everything comes with instructions. What are some ways you do things that happen to be the best way to do those things?
I'll start. I hang up a brand new shower curtain. After each shower, I use the towel I just dried off with to wipe down the shower curtain, so it doesn't get moldy.

You use a new towel for every shower?

I read this in the voice of Moe Szyslak.

Yeah, I think I'm worth it.

I'm so cynical about shower curtain liners that I don't think even this would help much here. I miss having a glass shower door, and using one of those window/windshield rubber squeegee things after every shower. That setup was way easier to keep clean.

I find that some horrors always end up lurking in the bottom channel of those. I also don't trust that type of sliding door, which uses the same technology as those sliding closet doors that fall out at least once a day.

Ours were always swing out doors, but yeah point taken about hidden mold. Also all of our bathrooms tend to have sloppy DIY caulk jobs (I'm not great at it but could do better than what I've seen) which inevitably trap some mold in. Bathrooms are disgusting, even from a 'first world problem' standpoint.

We have a glass shower door. Wife has encouraged use of this stuff (Clean Shower spray) after each shower. It actually seems to work.
I've been using that stuff after every shower for the past two years. My white-tiled shower looks pretty damn clean at any given time. Don't think I'll need to scrub anything off when my lease is up.

Toothache/infections:
One heaped teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in a cup, add half inch of hot water, stir till it stops fizzing, add a little cold water and swill like it's mouthwash. Repeat 3-4 times a day, works faster and better than antibiotics - will be gone in 3 days.

Pears are great for neutralising heartburn. Can also help with indigestion, due to the enzymes.
