There is a certain exquisite flavor to wheat toast dipped in moderately runny yolk. The right amount of salt and pepper on perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs can also be a singular breakfast treat, but c'mon. Over easy.

The question is incomplete. We talking strait up on your plate? In a sandwich? What kind of sandwich? The options are endless, my friend!

Over hard: sausage egg mcmuffin style
Over easy (or dippin' eggs): with toast and/or over potatoes
Scrambled: in a wrap or on a plate and definitely with cheese, in hash
Omelette: on a plate or in a wrap and definitely with cheese, in stir fry

Poached: Shakshouka, or on toast
Scrambled: in a wrap or on a plate and definitely with cheese, in hash
Omelette: on a plate, well-seasoned with a spoonful of marmalade added

Fuck an omelette. Of the two poll choices: O/E

Matzoh Brei (with garlic powder and scallions, for scramble)
Over Easy (Sandwiches)
Soft Boiled (for dipping)
Hard Boiled (for egg salad sandwich)
Sunny-side Up (for kimchi rice bowls)
Scrambled (for breakfast burrito only)

This is the way.

I prefer over easy to scrambled, but eggs are so very good in so many different ways I almost didn’t want to vote.

Scrambled eggs, when you get them right, are the best form of eggs. I don't stir them in the pan - I nudge them into the center until there's no more liquid runoff, give them a quick flip to finish, and they come out fully cooked with no dry bits. Perfect for sandwiches.

I never really cared to dip toast in an over easy, but I have enjoyed an over medium, where the yolk bulges but isn't dry. Over easy is good for mixing with grits after they're served, but not essential.

Over easy on top of scallions and rice. That's pretty good.

This is exactly why eggs are do rad. So many different ways to eat them, all of it rules. If I had to choose a single egg as best it is easily "Soft boiled in a bowl of Ramen" for me.
