Big fan of Patrick Flegel/Cindy Lee, but have yet to dig into their previous band. Weird, especially that their music can be found and experienced immediately. Strange how that works.

Can't vote at this point, but I'm hoping I will get a lot out if it.

Listened to their s/t debut after making my initial post and am comfortable deciding on a not crap vote. Very much into bands that stretch and redefine the nature and purpose of pop music in challenging and unique ways. Earlier today I was thinking of how startled I was the first time I listened to You Must Be Certain of the Devil from Diamanda Galás - how the music fits but how her voice and phrasing is so confrontational that the music turns unearthly and odd - kinda what I'm getting from Women, though obviously less dramatic.
