What is your favorite cover song? Or songs?

Harvey Milk's cover of Cohen's One of Us Cannot Be Wrong springs to mind. And so does Model by Big Black, originally by Kraftwerk.

I can’t chose

Raining Blood by Tori Amos (originally by Slayer). I guess you could say that her rendition is pretty far from the original. Very interesting & atmospheric.

I guess I like punk rock covers. That recent Off! cover of Metallica was pretty impressive.

Amos’ Raining Blood is great.

Helmet’s Army of Me is pretty great, primarily because Stanier and Bogdan sound like they’re the same person.



NZ band Shihad did a great version of Boys Keep Swinging back when they were still noise metal.

Dazzling Killmen take on "Poptones" is out of this world.
