🏄🎸

I did this video set to a surf tune I wrote. It's recorded on an analog 8 track machine but I really only used 6 tracks. I did the drums on an electronic kit (live in the city with neighbors), and it's minimal effects, just reverb (quite a bit of that) and compression. I wanted it to be a bit derivative, all surf music should be a bit derivative, but I didn't want it to be too cliché derivative. It's a 3 minute instrumental done to surfers in the 60s and beach party-goers/dancers of that same time. Was fun to do.

Very cool. Really dug your video to go along with the vibe. Are you gonna do more??

Thanks, Mike. Totally appreciate you checking it out.

I'd like to do more, I have the library of tunes and video for it. Will post them as I make them for sure...inspired by being locked down, needed to have some fun...we could all use some fun these days. No vacation this year.

Sincerest thanks, much appreciated.

Honestly, I have no bandcamp page...I do use YouTube for video/song purposes as I like to put certain tracks to video, be they my own or some hidden gem that never got the attention but fit a time period or genre or just create a visual in my mind and serve as inspiration.
