I have a Job interview today

1
This afternoon I have a first round zoom interview for an Audio Repair Technician job at the LA Film School/LA Recording School. Nerves are setting in and I could really use some encouragement. This is the only job I've found that I'm actually interested in, and I need this to work out. Plz send audio nerd vibes.

Cool, good luck! I've been on several interviews recently even though my current job is decent and probably not going anywhere. So try to relax if you can, remind yourself of your strengths vs honing in on your perceived weaknesses, ask the sort of questions that show you care (and maybe you do), be enthusiastic without coming off as desperate.. and while it may be hard to recognize now.. in a way you're interviewing them too.

Thanks man, really tried to focus on this and I feel like it went well. Seemed like a comfortable conversation and the way they talked about the job seems like a better fit than the way it was in the posted description. Now I wait to hear if I get the second interview.

When I got interviewed few years ago, the guy (an external from one of those employment macrowebs) asked me bout my hobbies at the end of the interview. I replied blah lah blah... music. Rock. Rock music.

He gave me a long hard stare and asked me "Velvet Undeground vs Led Zepp?"

I displayed my catalogue of snobbery gestures and, full of myself, replied: "VU, if only for that wonderful third album"

The guy smiled and I knew the job was mine.

I should have said LZ.

Anyway, Good luck on that second round!
