Seems like a weird decision to make considering the decrease in sound quality as the needle moves to the inside grooves. I guess as an aesthetic decision for the listening experience, it makes some amount of sense and sets up the Side B Track 1 alley oop without screwing with track order you want. I think I have a Low Record where side D is like empty or something.

I love Nebraksa. Totally surprised I never noticed that playing my copy, and I'm now quite curious to see what else I have in my collection like this.
I know I have a Pavement album with a blank D side, and a Nine Inch Nails EP with a BLANK B-SIDE - weird.

Will report back after some serious crate digging.

Ha, that's a great use for the blank side from a 2xLP set!

I'll take the blank side over an etching on Side D. I wonder how many people completely fuck up their needle trying to play a stylus....
