40 Watt Sun - Perfect Light

I love 40 Watt Sun so am hugely biased, but this delivers.

Been really enjoying this new deathcrash album. Reminds me a bit of early Mogwai and Slint.

New Warpaint album is up and coming. A single "Champion" is out, I've listened to it three times now and I can dig it.

This Green/Blue record is an excellent follow up to last year's self-titled. Jim Blaha hasn't missed a step since The Blind Shake ended.

Sounds like they've chilled things out a little more. You could almost put this between The XX and the new Billy Eilish for better or worse. I'm down with it

The new Cate Le Bon album, Pompeii, is really doing a number on me. Twisty, queasy songs shot through with equal parts mid 70s Bowie and Rough Trade post-punk circa '79.
