Recording Session Photos (v2)

My band tracked drums in my basement this past weekend. 9 songs, 7 hours.
Guitars and keys were pumped direct into headphones, using amp sim VSTs to avoid bleed. We'll overdub those later.

Mic/Preamp List:
OHs: 2x AKG C414 B-ULS in ORTF through API 312 clone
Kick: Sennheiser e602 through API 312 clone
Snare: Beyerdynamic M 422 N(C) through API 312 clone
Toms: Oktava MK-012 (Cardiod capsule) through Neve 1081 clone
Front of Kit: Gefell PM750 through Allen & Heath Zed R16 board pres
Room: 2x AKG P170 in ORTF through Allen & Heath Zed R16 board pres

I didn't get a shot of the Gefell in front of the kit, but it was about 4' up and 6' away. The room mics were about 20' away at the other end of the basement.

It doesn't destroy my rug?

It's very lightweight, but has velcro on the bottom. Surprisingly effective, assuming it sticks to the rug you have.
That makes sense. My drummers have historically used a rug that was already less than presentable. Rolling it up to take to shows was a chore, though, and also easy to forget to do.

Sounds best when I time-align the mic'ed amp with the DI and mix accordingly.
