5Got to be.
I'm a fan of Morrissey's cover version:

7An absolutely transcendent level of camp. Some things become so corny they're almost spooky. I love it the way I love the Sons of the Pioneers and the Ink Spots. They make it feel like I'm trapped in the bar at The Overlook Hotel.

9I love 'Moon River', and I learned about it from Fletch.
I even like 'Old Man River'.

10“Old Man River” is wonderful. The whole musical Show Boat is wonderful, for that matter.Teacher's Pet wrote: Mon Sep 26, 2022 9:51 am I love 'Moon River', and I learned about it from Fletch.

Before yesterday, I’d never actually heard the famous Andy Williams version of “Moon River.” I like it, but my favorite version is the one I have on a Henry Mancini record. The first half is instrumental, and the second has vocals in that late 50s/early 60s pop vocal ensemble manner.
Audrey Hepburn’s version is also stunning.
