I had a college summer gig with a place in central ME that would do Gilbert and Sullivan performances and I played in the orchestra pit and got to Pinafore one year and Mikado another. That was pretty fun playing those theater gigs and I actually made a few bucks, but all I wanted at the time was to play in rock bands.
Anyway Pinafore, mostly due to familiarity, though Modern Major General is pretty catchy.
