Re: Band: STNNNG
2Oh hai The Classical if yr still out there..
I was a fan long before I knew any of them. They melded all the things I liked when they came around: absurdity, wacky guitar parts, but with the power and tightness to back it up. Then I saw them live for the first time after they added a bass player and they were the highlight of whatever year that was. I thought they'd get friggin' huge (like.. Metz huge or something) but such is life. NC!
Smoke of My Will is probably a good starter record for anyone looking to dive in. It has both drummers who had pretty different styles.

3According to the couple of tracks I heard long ago, super NC.
Must get into them like for real.

4Prolific band that checks all the boxes. I was really into the first few releases, and they just kept up the momentum. They played a cool show at the loft building we rehearsed in forever. Great split with Child Bite. Super nice dudes. A bit less fluid and more quirky than is typically my jam, but a solid not crap.

5Drummer Ben Ivascu is the best!
Re: Band: STNNNG
6Great band. Only got to see them live once and they destroyed.

7Great guy, killer drummer. Used to be buddies with a couple of these guys and a group of awesome Twin Cities people in my touring days (Falcon Crest and Signal to Trust were also excellent).

8This rips:
They were great to watch the one time I saw them at ATP. Former FM The Classical is a very entertaining frontman.

Re: Band: STNNNG
9Glorious band, they lit up London back in 2012. An FM took a photo of me in post-work office get-up looking like I’m braced for impact as singer and mic dive toward my face.
Gib Opi kein Opium, denn Opium bringt Opi um!

10Please recommend me a record from these fellas, it will be my next purchase. I promise.
