If you were to throw the writers of “Under Pressure” into a thunderdome, who would win?

I need to think for a moment.

Are we discussing the merit of their contributions to this song? Or just comparing the two musical entities overall?

Bowie, no pressure whatsoever required. Some of Queen's songs are fun, but nothing I'd ever actively choose to listen to, and Under Pressure in particular is a song I hope never to hear again.

Feel free to do both, but was intending on the latter.

The bar I was in played the song so I figured a thunderdome might be interesting.

Bowie ruled. Queen was not my thing at all.

OK then definitely Queen. They rocked harder, had more memorable songs, and Freddie was always human. I'm not into aliens.

Bowie's best feature was Mick Ronson.

Queen was great. Bowie was better.

Funny, I think that's one of, both Queen's and Bowie's, best songs.

That's the main issue...

Without all of the folks not named "David Bowie..." who played a massive role in all of the music that he gets the credit for?

You are essentially left with the start of "Quicksand".

While I really do love that? It ain't no Queen. Not by a long shot.

Never mind that Queen were still at the top of their game well into the eighties while the other side of the scale is Tommy Stone.
